We know that the people of the Illawarra love the sand and surf at our beautiful beaches. However skin protection and cancer prevention are important measures to take to keep ourselves healthy and happy.
We offer biopsy, cryotherapy, excision, and flap repair services.
All of our doctors offer skin checks 6 days a week. Our general practitioners have undergone additional training in skin cancer diagnosis and surgery.
Doctor Mehan has completed an advanced certificate in skin cancer surgery from the University of Queensland. He does skin cancer operations on the head, neck, skin flaps and skin skin grafts on a Thursday afternoon.

Our doctors are not plastic surgeons. We are always happy refer patients to public or private plastic surgeons if patients wish to receive specialist care.
Please note any skin cancer procedure comes with risk. Complications can include infection, bleeding, scaring, wound breakdown, incomplete cancer removal, and rarely damage to nerves or tendons.

2. If in pain or bleeding please access immediate medical attention from our clinic or emergency services
3. Approximate recovery will take 1-2 weeks
